She had a special bond with her miniature schnauzer, Otis, who was a wonderful caretaker over the years and never left her side. On even the warmest of days, she always had to wear long sleeves in case she got cold. Lynn loved: “making memories,” the color yellow, daisies, and sunflowers. She also enjoyed her Wednesday Ladybug League bowling where she made lifelong friends. Lynn was a devoted friend to all and kept in special contact with her Wheeling High School graduating class of 1967. She took her role seriously: helping at every school event, being a Girl Scout Troop leader, shuttling kids to and from 5am swim practices, cheerleading at every event possible even into Stephanie's adulthood. Lynn was the most wonderful mom and her daughter was her whole world. Lynn was a homebody and enjoyed sitting in her spot on the couch next to Steve, taking turns answering spam calls with Steve and giving them a piece of her mind. She loved her Steak and Shake milkshakes, peanut M&Ms, and going out to eat with her husband (especially if they had something "crispy" on the menu). Lynn was full of life - an energizer bunny who was up before dawn and could drink coffee until late at night. She was born on Septemin Wheeling, WV to her loving parents, Robert Lee McDonald Sr and Ella V. Virginia Lynn Bauer “Lynn,” age 74, passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side on Jafter a three year battle with cancer.
